Directions: From Chicago and beyond: If you're coming through the Chicago area and heading toward Wisconsin, we recommend that you take the Illinois Tollway (I-294) around the city to where it joins I-94. Head north into Wisconsin and follow the I-94 freeway to the I-894 bypass around Milwaukee. Continue north on the freeway when it becomes US 45 and follow the Fond du Lac signs. US 41 merges with US 45 north of Milwaukee. Then follow US 41 to Fond du Lac. It's an open road from the Wisconsin border to the first Fond du Lac exit, Main Street. The distance from the state line is just over 100 miles. When you exit, head north on Main Street (Hwy. 175). Follow Main Street to Division Street, turn right and drive about one mile east to the Marian campus. From the Milwaukee Area: Simply take US 41-45 freeway north to the first exit for Fond du Lac. Exit at Main Street (Hwy. 175), proceed north to Division Street, turn right and drive about one mile east to the Marian campus. From Madison: Take US 151 from Madison into downtown Fond du Lac. After 151 joins Main Street (Hwy. 175), watch for Division Street. Turn right and drive about one mile east to the Marian campus. From the Fox Cities or Green Bay: The easiest route from the north is US 41 south from Green Bay or Appleton to the Fond du Lac area. When you reach Fond du Lac, exit at the Johnson Street exit (Hwy. 23), turn left and head east through the city. Take a left on National Ave. and continue to the corner of Division St. From Minneapolis: Head south on I-94 to Wisconsin Hwy. 82. Exit and head east. When you cross US 51, Hwy. 82 becomes Hwy. 23. The road is a straight shot into Fond du Lac Once on the east side of the city, turn right at National Avenue (stop light). You'll find Marian College four blocks south. Total driving time after leaving the Twin Cities should be just over five hours. From Northeast Wisconsin: Take Hwy. 151 into Fond du Lac. Turn left at Luco Rd. which becomes National Avenue. Marian is 1 1/4 mile south. From Hwy. 23, go west to National Ave. traffic light, turn left. Marian is located at the corner of National Avenue and Division Street. |
